Hi, I'm Dr. Lauren Beene

Board-certified pediatrician and founder of Jellybean Pediatrics.

Why I created Jellybean Pediatrics

I'm a board-certified pediatrician and a mom, and I created Jellybean Pediatrics because I wanted a different kind of experience for families.

In traditional settings, visits can feel rushed and access can be frustrating. I wanted to build a practice that gives families more time, more connection, and care that fits into real life.

I believe the best pediatric care starts with listening. Parents know their children best, and my goal is to help families feel informed, supported, and confident in every stage of their child's health.

Before founding Jellybean Pediatrics, I spent nearly a decade caring for children and families through UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and affiliated pediatric practices, including work in both primary care and urgent care.

I completed medical school at Case Western Reserve University and pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, where I served as Chief Resident. I earned my undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

Medicine has been part of my family for three generations. My grandfather started a pediatric allergy practice in the basement of his home in 1958, where generations of families received care. Watching those relationships shaped the kind of pediatrician I wanted to become.

Jellybean Pediatrics is my way of carrying that tradition forward, combining lasting relationships with modern conveniences like telemedicine and direct communication with house calls.
